Jet Venturer 4200
Explore the bounty of our rivers and estuaries with the Jet Venturer 4200. Fitted with an outboard jet to get up the rivers to those harder to reach places, yet still versatile enough for our lakes, estuaries and coastlines. Ideally matched with a 40 or 50hp outboard jet, this is a good simple concept with the engine taking up little to no space inside the boat.
Features
Jet Tunnel
Our Jet Venturer range come standard with a tunnel built into the rear section of the hull. This directs water flow up to the outboard jet intake allowing the engine to be mounted much higher on the transom. The end result is a boat that can operate in much shallower water.
Shallow Runner Hull
Taking a traditional flat bottomed american jon boat and adding some kiwi inspired design, the result is a boat that is built for the shallows but can also handle the rough.
Side Seat System
Seats run parallel to each side, giving an open floor plan down the centre of the boat. This maximises space and makes moving around the boat more comfortable. The Jet Venturer 4200 also has a drivers seat on a removable pivot as part of the base package.
Floatation
Each side seat casing is fitted with closed cell foam providing safe and reliable floatation.
Dry Storage
A watertight forward compartment with an easily accessible, large lift up hatch with gas strut. This provides a space for keeping gear dry while utilising the often wasted bow area.
Rear Transom Steps/Floatation Pods
Allows easy access in and out of the boat. These also double as flotation pods to level out the boat at rest, providing a good shallow draught with heavier engines.
Gunnel Strips
UHMWPE (plastic) gunnel strips protect the edge of the boat when running up against objects like wharfs, trees, trailer poles etc.
Rod Holders
All boats come with four rod holders located in the lenghthways seating benches. These double as fixing points for the duck blind kit.
Handles
The standard hull has handles on the bow, sides of the forward deck, side seating benches as well as at the transom.
Rear Tie Points
Two transom eyes give good points to tie off and helicopter lifting into those more remote places
Bow Rope and Anchor System
This allows the anchor to be lowered and raised easily from inside the boat. Rope hooks and a bollard keep the rope clear from the hatch with an internal rope box.
